RTP Accounting provides the following services:

• General accounting
• Taxation accounting and preparation

General Accounting  RTP Accounting provides a full spectrum of accounting and bookkeeping services from data entry through General Ledger and the preparation of financial statements.  RTP Accounting does not provide audit services, but will work with you auditing firm if the need exists.  Also, RTP Accounting can review your accounting policies and procedures and recommend ways to strengthen your internal controls.

Taxation Accounting and Preparation 
RTP Accounting prepares both individual and business tax returns, including sole proprietorships (Schedule C), partnerships (Schedule K-1) S-Corps (Form 1120S) and C-Corps (Form 1120 … small businesses.)  We can also prepare Forms W-2 and 1099-Misc.  RTP Accounting can also prepare interim filings, e.g. estimated taxes and Form 941 (quarterly payroll withholdings report.)

Payroll 
The mathematics of payroll is simple.  However, calculating hours worked is not, and most payroll services require the client to calculate hours worked.  RTP Accounting has developed spreadsheets that not only make data entry easier (for example, eliminating entering the colon in time calculations) but will round forward to the next 5, 10, 15 minutes etc.  For example, if an employ arrives at 7:12 a.m., given a 10 minute rounding, the employee would be credited with arriving at 7:20 a.m. automatically.  Please note, RTP Accounting is not currently accepting new payroll clients

Research, Writing and Consulting 
As indicated by his resume, RTP has more than 30 years of accounting, business, tax and consulting experience.  Moreover, RTP is considered an effective writer having written everything from his college newspaper’s humor column to proposals for Peat Marwick consulting services.  Such writing includes responses to vendor claims to having written a reorganization plan which was accepted “as is” by the court.
